Pastor and Marlys began in the ministry in April of 1994. they served as Evangelists for six years until feeling the call to become Pastors. They began their pastoral ministry in July, 2001, and came to Central Church in December of 2002 to serve as Senior Pastors, Pastor and Marlys have a passion to reach the lost and to love, encourage, and build people.
Central is a Mission & Evangelism oriented church. We strive to build people through the word, discipleship, equipping for ministry, and relationships.
Pastor Tom and His wife joined us July 2006 but have been in the ministry for the last 24 years, pastoring and serving as staff members of different churches. for the past 8 years he served on staff at a church as the Pastoral Care Pastor and enjoyed all the close relationships that he made in that time. Now that they are here at Central Assembly as the Pastoral Care Pastor/Christian Education Pastor, They are looking forward to enjoying close relationship with the body in this fellowship. Pastor Tom and Gaynelle are excited about what God is up to here at Central Church, and expect a great move of God here in every service.
Pastor Ronny and his wife Tammy came to us in January of 2003. They both grew up in the Houston area and have been in the ministry since 1996. They have served as Teachers, Youth Pastors, Evangelist and in Adult Ministries. Both have a rich heritage deeply rooted in Pentecost. Ronny is a third generation Pentecostal Minister with a passion for keeping the gift of the spirit, and the Power of God alive and well in the church today.
